About Alex
I am an engaging, patient and highly experienced Law tutor. I have written in the A-Level Law Review magazine. I have a proven record of significantly increasing students’ grades.
I’m currently a trainee solicitor at a national law firm and specialise in civil litigation. I had a previous career as a college lecturer and schoolteacher.
There is no typical student for me. I have an expansive portfolio of sixth formers, mature students, gap year students re-sitting exams, military veterans, international students, SEN students, GCSE students wanting a head-start etc – all from a range of diverse backgrounds.
My experience:
• Teaching since 2011;
• Tutoring since 2015;
• Qualified teacher;
• A-levels, BTEC, Access, University, Postgraduate;
• A plethora of exam boards; for example, OCR, AQA, Edexcel, Cambridge, BTEC et cetera;

• MSc LPC Law, Business and Management at The University of Law – Distinction;
• Graduate LLB at The University of Law – Upper Second (scholar);
• PGCE at Exeter University – Distinction/Qualified Teacher Status;

Alex is a phenomenal tutor. I can't thank him enough for his help with my Law A-Level. He knows the subject like the back of his hand and this really shows. Because of Alex, I've gone from zero to A* predicted in Law. His tutoring lessons on university/personal statement preparation have been equally as helpful. Alex has such an acute ability to pick out the best parts of my personal statement and offer revisions for the parts that can be improved. I simply could not recommend Alex more as a tutor.
