About Tvesha
I am a first-year law student at Queen Mary University of London, currently working as a mentor, moot court workshop facilitator, legal notetaker, and volunteer. My motivation to pursue commercial law stems from my deep interest in problem-solving in the business context. I am drawn to the evolving nature of the commercial world, the way the market, regulations and business strategies keep changing, requiring lawyers to adapt and think ahead, is a challenge that I find motivating. The requirement to keep learning and growing is the key reason I am interested in this career. Throughout my high school years, I have balanced my academics with my extracurricular commitments and internships, cultivating a disciplined ambition with a drive for excellence.

As a law student, I have gained experience and practice in critical thinking, analysis and essay writing. I am currently working as a mentor for Year 12 and Year 13 students, helping them with their college applications and CVs. Excellence can be achieved through consistent effort, collaboration, ambition, integrity, skills development and work experience. My work as a scribe for those who are differently abled during their examinations and educating underprivileged children helped me develop patience, empathy and the ability to communicate information clearly. By facilitating workshops and mentoring peers and volunteering, I learnt to embrace diverse perspectives and developed a drive to create meaningful impact.
