About Hajra
Hi, I’m Hajra, a Law undergraduate student with a genuine passion for learning and helping others reach their academic potential. Having recently completed my A-Levels with A, A and B grades in Law, Economics and Psychology, I understand first-hand the hard work, organisation and confidence needed to succeed.
I’m a friendly, patient and approachable tutor, and I aim to create a positive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and challenging themselves. I know that every student learns differently, so I take the time to understand what works best for each individual.
Whether you’re looking to improve your understanding of a difficult topic, build your confidence or prepare for upcoming exams, I’m here to provide supportive and personalised guidance. My approach to tutoring is centred around making lessons supportive and tailored to each student’s needs. I believe students learn best when they are encouraged to actively participate and ask questions, rather than simply memorising information.
I begin by identifying the student’s current strengths and areas for improvement, then structure lessons around their specific goals and according to the subject's exam board. Depending on the subject and topic, I encourage discussions, as well as focused exam preparation where the emphasis is past exam questions and exam structure/technique to understand what the examiners are looking for.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes, although longer sessions can be arranged where appropriate.
As someone who has completed these subjects, I have a strong understanding of the A-Level courses and the challenges students can face when preparing for exams.
