About Gabriel
Good morning everyone, nice to meet you all. I am a lawyer and, after living in New York for a year, I want to teach students and legal professionals the legal vocabulary in English, as well as train the pronunciation and oral construction skills of those interested in intermediate or advanced language learning. , already able to establish a conversation, and understand more complex English texts, including real legal cases.

I have a law degree from Fundação Getúlio Vargas in Rio de Janeiro, and an LLM degree from New York University, which I joined after passing the TOEFL exam. There, I was able to learn several legal terms that I would like to teach other people about. Later, I learned the rules of the North American Code of Ethics in a Professional Responsibility course, which I also intend to use as content for my classes. Currently, I work as a tax attorney, and intend to take the BAR Exam, to be able to practice law in the United States, in 2021. The classes will take place on the basis of the conversation, through the evaluation of numerous legal texts, extracted from my international experience, to test pronunciation and train student's vocabulary. I will explain the meaning of the expressions commonly used in North American law, and also will elaborate exercises based on the content learned by me internationally, designed to test the student's ability to understand and talk about complex cases and stories, whether they are legal situations or not.
