About James
I like to bring positivity to my teaching. The industry can sometimes be a daunting place filled with egos, so I want my students to leave with confidence in themselves and become an asset to the studios they work for. I teach animation in Maya which is a piece of software I have used for 10 years, so I consider myself proficient in it and able to answer any questions you may have.

My goal is to bring the best out of my students in a positive learning environment. I bring a large network to the table and will do everything in my power to help you get to where you want to be. I have worked in every corner of the industry, and have over twelve years of experience, so I know how to navigate the industry and what both recruiters and supervisors are looking for (because these can vary sometimes). Whatever you are struggling with, be it bouncing balls, creatures, dialogue, locomotion or weight; I can help you achieve your animation dreams. Some of my more notable experience comes from MPC, Digital Domain and Framestore. Working on shows such as Spiderman No Way Home, Detective Pikachu, Sonic, Wakanda Forever, Secret Invasion, Black Adam, and Aquaman.
