About Dilip
After my Ph.D in Physics I have been a researcher in the area of basic and applied physics for a period of 10 years and have obtained several US patents in the area of application of high temperature superconductor. Then I served as a full professor of Physics for nearly 25 years. I graduated many Ph.D students and undergraduate students. The students in Universities of USA and abroad have commended highly my unique teaching style that helps students learn very difficult and advanced concepts in math and physics without any stress, to earn the skill to apply them for problem solving and improve their grades. Over the past six years I have been engaged in inventing new technologies for cost-effective carbon capture and a new renewable energy technology. I have been helping students on Varsity Tutors with my unique teaching experience and they have been rating me highly. I would love to help your students. They are the future building blocks of our country.

1 I first assess student's background -what the student knows so far.
2. Give the basic concepts/ knowledge/theory about the subject matter and assess student's comprehension by asking questions. For that I give real life-examples that bear similarity to the concepts. For very young students sometimes I take help of pictures, figures, toys, candies, pencils etc.
3. Discuss a few problems related to the concepts taught. Break down the problem into a few steps. For each step to find the key variable I first discuss some clues. I then ask If the student to find the key variable. If the student can't find the answer for that step, give further clues until the students sees clearly the connectivity. Then I go to the next step use the similar approach until the student finds the answer(s) to the problem himself/herself under my supervision.
4.Then I give the student several problems related to the solved problems to solve on his/her own. If the student is stuck or taking more time than supposed to, then I ask where he/she is finding the difficulty. I give clues again, instead of directly telling the answer.
5. The above approach have been found to be very effective even for students with weak background in math and science. Most of my students have improved their grades and getting A's.

I take tutoring with a responsibility. I have a fame as an excellent teacher. I like to help students, no matter how weak they are in math and science, to earn the concepts very well and improve their grades. I am sure I can help the tutoring center earn a name with my unique teaching experiences. The charge $30/hour is very nominal charge and the students can soon see the results of learning with me.
