My daughter started lessons with her to help improve her art skills and confidence before her GCSEs. She used to only feel comfortable drawing with paints and would get nervous trying anything new. But after working with Rebecca, she’s completely opened up.

Rebecca sets out each lesson with real care and thought. Her teaching complements the school curriculum really well, but I can also see how it goes beyond that; encouraging my daughter to think for herself and trust her own creative ideas.

She now enjoys trying different materials and styles, and she’s so much more willing to explore and take risks. Rebecca is incredibly patient and encouraging, and her way of teaching just builds confidence without pressure.

Since starting lessons, my daughter got a Grade 9 in Art and won the school’s art award for creativity. Most importantly, she’s proud of her work and has chosen to take Art at A-level which is something we’re really happy about.
