About Suchismita
Hello! I’m Suchismita Makhal, a passionate Kathak dancer and teacher from Howrah. I have had the privilege of training under my esteemed guru, Smt. Rinki Ghosh, which has deeply shaped my understanding and practice of this beautiful classical dance form. I hold a Diploma from Prayag Sangeet Samiti and a Master’s degree from Bangiya Sangeet Kala Kendra. Additionally, I enriched my learning by attending workshops under the guidance of Pt. Krishan Mohan Mishra Maharaj. For me, Kathak is more than just dance — it is a language of emotions, stories, and culture that I am eager to share with others. Teaching allows me to pass on this rich heritage and help students experience the joy, discipline, and creativity that Kathak inspires. My goal is to nurture each student’s unique expression while honoring tradition with love and respect. I look forward to guiding you on this beautiful journey of Kathak.
