About Syed
Hello! My name is Syed, and I am a qualified MBBS doctor with a passion for teaching Biology and Medical Sciences. Alongside my medical career, I have accumulated over 4 years of teaching experience, helping students understand complex scientific concepts in a clear, engaging, and exam-focused way.
I have successfully completed USMLE Step 1, USMLE Step 2, and PLAB 1, which has given me a strong foundation in basic and clinical medical sciences. In addition, I have 2 years of clinical experience working with patients, allowing me to connect theoretical knowledge with real-world medical practice.
I teach Biology, Human Anatomy, Physiology, Pathology, and other medical science subjects to GCSE, A* Level, pre-medical. My teaching approach focuses on building strong conceptual understanding rather than rote memorisation. I break down difficult topics into simple explanations, use diagrams and clinical examples, and tailor lessons to each student's individual learning style.
Over the years, I have worked with students from different academic backgrounds and understand that every learner has unique strengths and challenges. As an MBBS doctor with 2 years of clinical experience, I bring real-world medical knowledge into my teaching. Having completed USMLE Step 1, USMLE Step 2, and PLAB 1, I understand the challenges students face when learning biology and medical sciences.
