About Alfredo
I have been teaching for more than 15 years, I began my training playing from the age of 10 at the National Chess School where I learned the wonders of the science game with FIDE teacher Alfonso Ferriz Carrasquedo (RIP). I was titled as Official Arbitre of the National Federation, I have participated in national events of great attendance both as a player, as a referee and as a coach. I reached the (Rating) level of first force before I was 15 years old. I have the experience to personalize the classes and form a training plan that focuses on achieving the personal goals of each individual.

My preference is to teach based on the teaching methodology established by pedagogues such as the International Chess Master Ramon Huerta Soris. However, today there are many resources at hand and we can also use YouTube videos, infographics and different useful references. We use several books, we study the world champions and the great players that today are known as the classics and different materials that help us in the habit of solving problems (authors such as Lazlo Polgar, Capablanca, Reti, etc. ). We use a methodical system in which the different concepts necessary for the tactical domain are presented to the player, always making a frame first that allows us to detect the initial level or the first approach that will be more appropriate to strengthen a solid base on which knowledge will be built. Fluent in English, in case it could be required.
