About Adam
Hi!
Over the past ten years as a senior full-stack developer I've traveled the world: studying and researching computer science at the Max Planck Institute for Informatics in Germany; developing software used by millions of people every day at big-name tech companies like Etsy in Brooklyn and Dropbox in Seattle; and writing mission-critical code for Wall Street investors with millions of dollars a minute on the line - along the way acing some of the industry's most competitive technical interviews. Now I'm here in beautiful Victoria BC, looking to share my skills and experience with you. Whatever subject you need to learn - from algorithms and data structures to programming language theory to artificial intelligence, from Python to C to assembly language to ML - I've probably seen it and done it.

Ever since I was a precocious little kid explaining technology to parents and teachers, I've been told I have a knack for breaking down complex concepts into straightforward ideas anyone can understand. And deep down, I truly do believe that nothing in the world of computing is beyond anyone's understanding - it's just a matter of developing the right intuitions and ways of thinking about things. That's my goal as a tutor and the basis of my teaching methodology - not just to help you memorize your textbook, but to help you really think like coder or computer scientist.

I worked with and sat next to Adam for a couple years. He's both super-smart and super easy to get along with, and always quick to help out with an explanation or, better yet, fixing up our ridiculous code so it doesn't need some crazy explanation anymore.
Adam is one of the best Software Engineers I know and a teacher at heart. Adam is able to explain things incrementally really well and build up a very strong fundamental knowledge of computer science for his students. I totally recommend getting lessons from Adam :)
