About Astrid
I have three years teaching experience both in person and online. I teach both private and group classes. I have a 200 Yoga Teacher Training certificate from Goa, India, specializing in Ashtanga and Hatha yoga. I live tucked away in a little archipelago in the Java Sea, where I spend most of my time connecting to my surroundings, working in the community and following around my two beloved children.

I tailor my classes to my student's needs, both from a physical and mental viewpoint. The pace of the class is typically slower to really feel into each pose and gain all the respective benefits, but I'm also happy to pick up the pace where needed. Learn to love yourself, empty your mind and cultivate qualities that can transform your life off the mat.

Astrid is a very committed and experienced teacher, both in ESL and yoga. She has a well developed knowledge of both subjects, which she can explain well with examples and by demonstration. She takes a balanced approach putting the student first and ensuring that they don't overextend themselves, while at the same time keeping things challenging enough to be motivating. I wouldn't hesitate for a second in recommending Astrid as an ESL or yoga teacher!
