About Shekhynah
My educational background is in civil and environmental engineering. My continuing education has included advanced botany, soil science, Regenative agriculture, and Korean Natural Farming. I maintain a thriving garden of herbs, vegetables, leafy greens, fruit trees, berry bushes, and exotic cultivars in our sub-tropical Zone 9, coastal climate here in Houston/Cypress, TX.

We will work together from the planning of the garden, to establishing the garden, to planting and tending all the way to harvesting and start it all over again with planting! I will teach you all the tools I have in my gardener's toolbox that has allowed me to cultivate a lush, lively organic garden that continues to feeds my family and friends throughout the seasons. If your gardening goals are along the lines of self-sufficiency, lifestyle enhancements, dietary upgrades, connecting with nature, developing a garden-centered self-care practice, or providing learning experiences for children and for the whole family then I would love to assist you on your journey. The reasons to start and maintain a garden are endless, and the obstacles that many new Houston gardeners face can be easily overcome. Lets dig our hands into the soil together and grow something!
