About Katri
Years ago I knew little about photography but having a keen interest and a real drive to get my photos to a better standard made in me want learn as much as I could. So I took courses myself, read up on as much as I could and learned a lot as I went. I've been taking photos for over 10 years now and run my own photography business in Tasmania's North West. I get so much joy from taking photos, whether it's landscapes or portraiture, I want to help others on their photographic journey.

I can cater to Beginners and Intermediate level photographers. Lessons will consist of both theoretical and practical elements.
BEGINNER Lessons
I will teach you how to stop shooting in Auto mode for good and become a fully-fledged Manual Mode user. This will allow you to have much more creative control of your images. Topics covered include:
Exposure Triangle
Metering
Camera Settings
Focusing, set up for shots
Composition and Framing
White Balance
Understanding camera Histogram
Perspective, Lenses and focal lengths
Using a Tripod
JPEG and RAW File Format
Basic Editing
For INTERMEDIATE level photographers, I will come up with lesson plans based on individual needs to ensure you get the most out of each lesson. Perhaps you know how to use Manual mode but want to learn more about long exposures and using filters, or more advanced editing.

I've been taking private photography lessons with Katri for a few months now. I was a total beginner with no real knowledge of photography but wanted to learn.
