About Jey
Jey Burkhardt received her Master’s in Applied Linguistics from Charles Darwin University, Australia and has taught children with literacy skills as well as university students with their academic writing. She has over 30 years experience of teaching English proficiency. A published author of several research papers, Jey believes in helping student with self-regulated learning and the use of digital technology in education. In 2018, she received the recognition, ‘Best Teacher Award - Students Vote' from Sunway University, Malaysia. Jey has trained many undergraduate students with Study Skills, Communication Skills, Negotiation, Coaching and other Soft-skills. Moreover, Jey is also a certified Mental Health Coach, from Light University, USA. which enables her to show empathy to her students as they face various challenges. classes.
