About Franka
I am international and multilingual and believe in the power of expression and connection. I grew up and worked in Asia, Africa, Australia and Europe.
As a child of expats, I grew up as a native English speaker, with Dutch as my mother tongue at home. I completed my university education in English in South Africa, as well as my TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) certification. I did my HBO education in Rotterdam in Dutch.
In addition, I speak a number of other languages and I know the feeling of empowerment through nuanced language use.

I tailor my techniques and methodology to your needs .

Lessons are 30, 45 or 60 minutes, or longer/shorter in consultation.
I obtained my TEFL certificate in South Africa and was immediately invited to teach at the same organisation, which was quite an honour!
I have since taught internationally to people of all ages, including Business English for corporations.
