About Vivien
I am a native English speaker born in Scotland. I stayed abroad in my younger days so I remember how it felt to be “the new kid” and the pressure of having to learn new words and phrases, along with the culture and ways of the country I had moved to. I had travelled around the world by the time I was 4 years old and lived in different countries up until my mid-teenage years. I have experience working with children and young people and I have created lesson plans for various age groups. I enjoy meeting new people and learning about their lives, experiences and aspirations. I gained my TEFL qualification as it is something I've always wanted to have. I may travel abroad again when I retire and being qualified to teach English might come in useful. As I have just recently qualified I am now looking for students to teach. I am currently studying Spanish so I understand how it feels to learn a new language.
