About Polly
I've lived in London all my life so I'm a native British English speaker. I have completed an accredited Level 5 (168 hour) TEFL course with the Tefl Academy, where I learnt all the skills needed to teach English effectively. In Cambodia, I taught English classes to children of all ages and levels. I'm also experienced teaching children to code and as a Scout leader in my local area.
At the moment I'm studying Philosophy at the University of Sheffield (in Northern England). I've travelled Europe by train and visited Egypt, Thailand, Cambodia, Malaysia, Singapore and Vietnam. I love board games and music, and can be found playing my trumpet or hanging out with friends.
I really care about teaching well, that's why my experience is mostly voluntary! Each of my students is important to me and I'm interested to find out about you. I can't wait to help you learn :-D

I'm offering English teaching for all ages and levels. My lessons will be fun - we'll chat in English so you can get comfortable speaking! We'll also practise grammar, reading and writing. I'll help you prepare if you are taking an exam. You can choose the topic or I'll tailor a lesson plan to you.
I'm Level 5 TEFL qualified and I've taught English to classes in Cambodia (and coding to children in the UK). I'm a university student from London so I'm used to learning myself and my accent is very English!
Most importantly, lessons with me will be enjoyable and centred around you and your needs. Let's learn English together!
