About Jules
I am a native French speaker from Paris and an international Business student, currently studying at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill after studying in France and Spain. I speak French, English, Spanish and Chinese, so I understand the process of learning a language from both sides.
I have experience tutoring international students in French and supporting university students academically. I am patient, organized and genuinely enjoy helping people gain confidence. My international background allows me to explain not only the language, but also the culture and the real-life expressions that make French feel natural.
Outside of academics, I am passionate about sports and compete in golf and long-distance running at a high level. I enjoy bringing this energy, discipline and positive mindset to my lessons.

French should feel like a language you can actually use, not just a subject in a textbook. My lessons are built around real-life situations: introducing yourself, traveling, ordering at a café, discussing your interests, or preparing for class.
Each lesson combines conversation, useful vocabulary, pronunciation and clear grammar explanations when needed. We start with your goal, then I create a simple plan adapted to your level and pace. You will speak French from the first lesson — without pressure, and with English support whenever useful.
As a French student who has lived and studied internationally, I understand the challenges of learning a language. I teach beginners, high school and college students, as well as adults who want to prepare for travel, study abroad or everyday conversation.
