About Menka
I am an experienced French tutor that has worked with students 9 - 25 years old. I am a language enthusiast, speaking four languages fluently and learning a fifth one now. I love finding similarities between languages, exploring languages' structures and finding logic in syntax. I have worked in primary school for two years as SEN Teaching assistant, I love teaching children and will particularly welcome any SEN students. Originally I am a trained scientist, so if you are learning French for work in science and technology I can definitely help you.

I teach French by focusing on fun subjects and using information that is interesting and meaningful to my students. I use visual aids, fun videos and everyday life information as resources for effective learning. I will help you come up with a plan for learning in between lessons that will maximise the benefits of the lessons and long-term memorisation. Lessons can have any length, starting at 45 minutes (for £20). My hourly rate is £25, and each additional 15 minutes costs £5.

Menka is not only super qualified for a tutor, having a PhD in physics, but she also has a very positive and encouraging attitude with the students. She has also experience working with neurodivergent and beaviorally atypical students, and her patience seems to be endless.
