About Paul
Guten Tag! I’m Paul, a British native who has lived, studied, and worked in Germany for over 14 years and can share my experience of becoming eingebürgert (a German citizen).
I’m a qualified social worker and facilitator who enjoys meeting new people and discovering new perspectives. Since I learned German myself as a non-native speaker, I understand the real challenges learners face and know how to support you step by step in mastering the language.
I have strong personal experience with the education system from GCSE through A-Level and help students improve their results while sounding more natural and confident in German.
My lessons are interactive, practical, and conversation-focused. You’ll start using German from day one while building a clear understanding of grammar and structure. Along the way, you’ll also learn why you shouldn’t eat “Kabelsalat” or act on a “Schnapsidee”.
My biggest strength is making German learning engaging and enjoyable. Sounds impossible? Try me :)

Learning doesn't have to be boring! My teaching approach is based on conversation, real-life application, and confidence building. I focus on helping you actively use German from the beginning, in an entertaining and memorable way.
Instead of only doing grammar exercises, we work with dialogue, role-play, storytelling, and topic-based speaking so the language becomes natural and usable.
I adapt my methods to how you learn best and I regularly check in to adjust the pace and style.
