About Erik
Hi, my name is Erik and I am a recent graduate from Hamilton College with a degree in German Studies. I have taught intro German at college for 2 years and worked as a tutor. Additionally, I studied abroad in Tübingen Germany for a year. I have lots of experience working with German learners and have learned the language myself from scratch to C1. Personally, I like hiking, sports, and cooking.

Lessons will vary based on the student's needs and goals. After assessing the current level of proficiency, I work with students to help them practice material suited to their goals. This could include: grammar practice with lessons and problems, vocab practice with activities, one-on-one conversation, listening practice, or games. I create a fun and productive atmosphere and make the learner feel good about their progress :) . Lessons can be targeted for any level from complete beginner (A1) to intermediate/advanced (B2).
