About Freya
Hi, I’m Freya
I am a Japanese tutor with 10 years of experience living in Japan and 4 years of professional experience working at a Japanese company.
I moved to Japan for university and built my career there, gaining not only strong Japanese language skills but also a deep understanding of Japanese culture, communication styles, and workplace etiquette.
During my time working in Japan, I used Japanese every day in a corporate environment, including business communication, client meetings, and professional presentations. This allows me to teach practical Japanese that goes beyond textbooks.
I am currently studying at the University of Melbourne, and I enjoy helping students from different backgrounds discover the Japanese language and culture.
Whether you are a complete beginner, preparing for JLPT, planning to visit or study in Japan, or looking to improve your business Japanese, I will create lessons tailored to your goals.
