About Junko
I am from NARA, a qualified chef and personal trainer living in Perth. I used to be an athlete in Japan and a tutor for math to a year 5 student. I obtained a bachelor's degree as well as a teaching certificate. I am a born-again Christian currently teaching Sunday school to children at my church. I've been teaching Japanese in Superproof for 5 years, and I feel so rewarded to teach Japanese to students who would like to achieve their individual goals !

My teaching method is teaching Japanese conversation using different books. Changing occasions such as going out for shopping, cooking lessons (not teaching how to cook but teaching cooking vocabulary in the lessons), or any topics students would like to learn. I can teach calligraphy if they want to try. I like creative lessons and have fun learning..

Perfect! From my perspective, Junko sensei is a fantastic tutor. Her teaching materials are beautifully structured yet still flexible to follow with. She asked me to pronounce the letters in Katakana in order to assess my pronunciation in Japanese. Then, we practiced common sentences in relation with daily conversational settings. She was very thorough with the way I pronounced Japanese words and asked me to take note of the particular words which I struggled to pronounce so that I can practice later on. Her teaching style suits me best since I am a very structured learner myself. I am so blessed for having her as my tutor. Thank you.
