About Gene
Outside of my professional career, I'm passionate about architecture, travel, and discovering different cultures. As a licensed architect, I enjoy exploring cities around the world, experiencing their architecture, urban design, history, food, and local traditions. I love cooking and believe that sharing a great meal is one of the best ways to connect with people and understand a culture. I'm also an opera enthusiast and an avid runner who enjoys maintaining a healthy, active lifestyle in New York City. I'm naturally curious, enjoy meeting people from diverse backgrounds, and believe that learning a language is one of the best ways to broaden your perspective and connect with the world.

I also offer specialized instruction in Business Chinese, cross-cultural communication, architecture, the ARE (Architect Registration Examination), AutoCAD, construction documentation, construction management, and portfolio preparation.
My goal is to make every lesson engaging, practical, and enjoyable while helping you achieve measurable progress at your own pace.
