About WAN YU
Born and raised in Taiwan, I’m a native Mandarin speaker, former international cruise crew member, certified diver, and passionate traveller. I love meeting people from different cultures and making language learning feel natural and fun. My goal is simple: help you feel confident enough to actually use Mandarin in everyday life!

**Teaching methodology**
I focus on relaxed, practical conversation and everyday Mandarin. We can talk about travel, food, hobbies, culture, or anything you’re interested in. I’ll gently correct pronunciation and grammar while helping you speak with confidence.
**Lesson length**
Usually 60 minutes, but I’m flexible depending on your needs.
**Tutor experience**
I’m a native Mandarin speaker from Taiwan. I have helped friends and language exchange partners practise Mandarin. I’m also a former international cruise crew member and a passionate traveller, so I’m comfortable communicating with people from different cultures.
**Who are the lessons for?**
Mainly beginners and learners who want to improve their everyday conversational Mandarin. All ages are welcome.
