About Lizzie
I have worked with children and adults in educational and care situations for 39 years, and qualified as a Primary PGCE graduate in 2009. I have been tutoring since then. I understand the importance of encouraging pupils in their learning, especially when they are finding things difficult. Positive lessons lead to positive outcomes.

I understand that many adults have had a bad experience learning maths at school and this has knocked their confidence. In this course I plan to help people gain that confidence back. The course I offer will set people up for taking a GCSE Maths course. I do not teach GCSE Maths at the moment.
I have a lighthearted approach where no question is too silly to ask. I am always glad to teach things several times and in different ways so my pupils can understand. I start with a short assessment; nothing to be scared of. This gives me an idea where I need to pitch the lessons.
I will never judge you on things you don't know and always tell my pupils:
"DON'T GET IN A TIZZY - ASK LIZZIE!"
