I am a passionate piano teacher with over fourteen years of experience guiding students both in-person and online, helping them discover the joy and depth of music. Holding a **Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance**, I bring not only strong academic training but also years of practical experience to every lesson. My piano teaching approach is built on the belief that anyone can unlock their musical potential with the right guidance and support. I focus on building a solid foundation in keyboard technique, ensuring students develop proper hand position, finger strength, and fluidity early on. Alongside technique, I incorporate ear training exercises to sharpen listening skills, helping students recognise melodies, harmonies, and rhythms with confidence. Each lesson blends music theory with real application, so students don’t just learn notes—they understand how music works. I emphasise performance skills, encouraging students to play expressively and build stage confidence, whether they are sharing music in a living room or on a larger stage. For beginners, I create a patient, structured path to develop skills step by step, while for more advanced learners, I offer challenges that expand their abilities and artistry. I tailor every session to match the student’s goals—whether they’re exploring piano for fun, working towards exams, or striving for professional performance. Improvisation and creativity are encouraged, allowing students to experiment with styles like classical, jazz, pop, funk, and soul. I provide plenty of encouragement, helping learners overcome fear, stay motivated, and enjoy the journey of making music. With over 14 years of piano experience, I understand that progress is not only about practice—it’s about passion.
