About Madeline
I have 8 years of experience teaching piano and keyboard to K-12 and first-year college students. I studied at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where I gained strong knowledge in music performance and teaching. I focus on making lessons engaging, structured, and easy to understand so students can progress confidently. I have helped many students perform successfully and develop strong musical skills. I received the Piano Teaching Excellence Award for my student-friendly teaching style.

My piano lessons are designed to make learning smooth, simple, and enjoyable while ensuring strong progress. I will help you understand the topic you have been having trouble with, through clear explanations, useful examples, and a lot of guided and dynamic practice. I teach keyboard and synthesizer along with proper hand placement, scales, chords, rhythm, and note reading so you understand both theory and playing together. You will learn songs step by step while improving coordination, timing, and musical expression. I also provide comprehensive guidance on practice exercises, homework, assignments, and performance preparation so you can improve consistently. You can share songs or topics before the lesson, and I will prepare a customized session for you.
