Over the past eight years, I've had the pleasure of sharing my passion for the guitar with over 300 students, each with their own unique musical aspirations. My approach to teaching is highly adaptable, recognizing that every individual learns differently and has distinct goals. Whether a student dreams of playing bluesy riffs, delicate classical pieces, or contemporary pop songs, I tailor my lessons to align with their interests. I emphasize the development of strong technical skills, including finger dexterity, picking accuracy, and fretboard knowledge. However, I also believe in nurturing a student's ear for music, incorporating ear training exercises to enhance their ability to recognize melodies, harmonies, and rhythms. For those interested in improvisation, I provide a framework for understanding scales, modes, and chord voicings, encouraging them to explore their own melodic ideas. My greatest satisfaction comes from seeing my students not only improve their playing but also develop a deeper connection with the music they create and enjoy.
