About Cheryl
As an alumn of several professional institutions in the USA and Europe, Cheryl earned her Masters Degree in Violin Performance (Summa cum Laude) in 2014 and continues to improve her skills in Switzerland. She has taught students between the ages of 15 and 35 March 2018 and her students leave each lesson with a big smile on their faces! Cheryl loves taking advantage of technology in order to distribute learning resources, using only the best materials. This is an adventure that you will only thank yourself for later.

The learning process is completely personalised for you based on your age, experience, and expectations you might already have of your experience.
I offer you an excellent opportunity to learn more about the violin, without sacrificing on quality. I especially focus on good fundamentals and healthy posture. And then, when the opportunity presents itself, I encourage students to play in small arrangements, chosen or written by myself for their educational value. This is an exciting learning experience with concrete goals, and very much up to you. Details
Group lessons (up to 2 people) are available in person at my address:
100 CHF for 1.5 hours.
During instances where one student in the group might want an individual lesson, the individual rates apply, with a small discount: 60 CHF / hour. This is where we can work on improvements specific to the student, and talk about a personalised programme outside of the group lesson. This can be very interesting for students thinking to build a long-term musical culture, and gain an understanding that exceeds the world of the violin. As soon as your technique allows, you will have the opportunity to play duets with me, personally! This is the most exciting part about playing music - learning to play chamber music!
