About Juliano
Born & raised in Rio de Janeiro, I embody a fusion of roles as a historian, musician, and bohemian soul. My roots in Rio have deeply influenced my perspective on art and history. To me, both art and history serve as unique lenses through which we can understand the intricate tapestry of Brazilian society. I'm a historian. My academic pursuits led me to achieve a master's degree in history from the esteemed Universidade Federal Fluminense. This journey has been a fulfilling exploration of the past, enriching my understanding of the cultural mosaic that shapes Brazil. Alongside my scholarly endeavors, I've cultivated a parallel love for music since my early years. Currently, I share my melodies and voice in the vibrant samba circles of Rio. It is this blend of historical insight, musical expression, and a free-spirited essence that I bring to our Portuguese language classes, aiming to make your learning experience not just educational but a true celebration of Brazilian culture and heritage.
