About Simrat pal singh
I'm a software engineer with four years of professional Python experience, building production systems, data pipelines, and cloud-deployed applications for real companies before moving deeper into AI and machine learning. I'm AWS-certified and currently completing a postgraduate specialization in applied AI, working hands-on with the same tools the industry uses every day — PyTorch, scikit-learn, and modern GenAI frameworks.
What I care about most as a tutor is making hard things feel simple. In my career I've had to explain technical work to non-technical people constantly, and that's exactly the skill that makes a good teacher: meeting you where you are and building up from there, without jargon or judgment.

My lessons are for anyone working with Python, programming, or AI — from complete beginners writing their first line of code, to students fighting through coursework, to people building real projects and hitting walls. No question is too basic, and no goal is too ambitious.
I teach the way industry actually works, not just textbook theory. We focus on your real problems — the assignment that's due, the concept that won't click, the bug that makes no sense — so every lesson leaves you with something you can use immediately. I always make the "why" clear, not just the "how," because that's what makes knowledge stick.

The first lesson is free — a chance for us to talk through what you need, see if we're a good fit, and map out a plan, with no pressure and no charge.
My standard rate covers everything: one-on-one teaching, any practice exercises or examples I prepare for you, and short follow-up if you get stuck between sessions. You won't be charged extra for materials — I put together resources and code examples tailored to what you're working on.
Lessons are available online or in person around Kitchener-Waterloo. Online sessions are the same rate; for in-person, I'm happy to meet somewhere central like a library or campus.
For students booking regularly, I'm open to discussing a package rate over multiple lessons. And if you're an absolute beginner, don't let the rate worry you — just reach out and we'll find something that works.
