About Shibil

Hi! I'm Shibil, a software engineer who genuinely enjoys teaching and helping others discover the world of programming.

I have around 4 years of professional experience building real-world software applications and working with clients across different countries. Alongside my development career, I've also taught programming to students internationally, including children and beginners.

I enjoy breaking down complicated technical concepts into simple explanations that anyone can understand. I believe every student learns differently, so I try to create a comfortable and encouraging environment where they can ask questions, explore ideas, and learn at their own pace.

Outside my professional work, I also create educational coding content through Bilcodes, where I share programming knowledge in a simple and approachable way.

I'm friendly, patient, approachable, and genuinely excited to help young learners take their first steps into programming. I look forward to helping your child discover what they can create with code!

About the lesson

My teaching approach is simple: learn by doing, experiment, and have fun along the way!

I'm a software engineer with 4 years of professional experience and a passion for teaching programming. I've previously taught coding to international students, including children, and enjoy making technical concepts easy to understand.

My classes are designed for children aged 9–15 who are interested in learning programming, even if they have absolutely no prior experience.

A typical class starts with a simple explanation of a concept using visual examples and handwritten diagrams. We then move on to writing code together, solving small challenges, and building practical projects such as games, quizzes, and simple applications.

I encourage students to ask questions, experiment with their own ideas, and learn from mistakes instead of simply memorizing code.

I also adapt my teaching pace to each student's understanding and interests. My goal isn't just to teach Python, but to help children develop logical thinking, creativity, confidence, and problem-solving skills.
