About Marybeth
I love reading and I feel as if everyone should experience the joy of it. Reading (even when for homework) shouldn't have to be dreaded, I like trying to find different ways to enjoy a text, and also I love watching as a small child's eyes light up when they figure out a new word.

I'm patient with children, I used to work for the YMCA before and after school Y Club. I have experience teaching and coaching elementary school aged children in reading and in writing. I encourage creativity and coming up with their own sentences to practice.
