Each lesson follows a step-by-step progression that mirrors the actual fashion design process:
Concept & Moodboard: We start with your idea. What inspires you? We build a moodboard that captures your vision, colors, silhouettes, and textures.
Sketching: You’ll learn to translate inspiration into fashion sketches, even if you’re a beginner.
Measurements: Accurate measuring is essential. I’ll teach you to take professional measurements and adapt patterns to fit the body.
Patternmaking: We move from sketch to structure. I teach basic and intermediate pattern drafting so your piece is wearable and tailored.
Cutting & Fabric Prep: Learn how to prepare your fabric, lay patterns, and cut cleanly and efficiently.
Sewing & Finishing: Using sewing machines or hand-sewing methods, we bring the piece to life. I also teach clean finishing techniques to make garments polished and durable.
