Evan has tutored me in Spanish for about 8 months. He is excellent. I discovered him through a small ad in my local Dunkin Donuts. I began with no knowledge of Spanish. Since then, I’ve made great strides in learning the language - verb tenses, vocabulary, pronunciation, and nuances of the language. He has been very flexible to accommodate my schedule. Frankly, I didn’t attack learning the language as much as I should and, despite this, I’m astonished at how much I’ve learned. For the first 5 months, the lessons were online because Evan was in South America. He is excellent online and in person. He provides homework assignments in between lessons which helps determine the areas to focus on. He has a great ability to assess a student’s learning style and level of competency to determine where to start and the amount of information to introduce at a time. He is smart, reliable, and a pleasure to work with. I believe that he can teach any level and age, at a speed that is comfortable for the student. I’m pleased with my progress and highly recommend Evan as a Spanish tutor.
