About Tessa
With 4 years of tutoring experience, I have had the opportunity to teach Spanish to over 150 high school and college students. My teaching philosophy is centered around making language learning enjoyable, accessible, and effective. I believe that each student learns differently, so I adapt my lessons to their individual needs, ensuring they feel confident and motivated throughout the learning process. I focus on creating a positive and engaging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and practicing. Whether it’s improving speaking, writing, reading, or preparing for exams like the DELE, I tailor my lessons to help each student achieve their specific goals. One of my proudest achievements is seeing my students gain fluency and confidence in their Spanish skills, some even pursuing advanced studies or careers where Spanish is a key asset. I’m committed to supporting each student’s growth, ensuring they not only learn the language but also develop a love for it.
