About Pooja
I am born and bred in Bombay in India and moved to Manchester 8 years ago. Although I love the Indian food options available here, I struggled finding authentic recipes in curry houses. Indian food is more than just tikka masala! Along with my finance job I started writing a cookbook and curating my own recipes with a lot of influence from my mum’s kitchen. Food for me is an expression and it’s the one thing that unites this very divided world.

I learnt cooking from my mum. My style is rustic but I like to experiment with different British seasonal ingredients. Curry isn’t something you should be devouring in a takeaway, give me a chance to show you how easy, delicious and healthy it can be if you make it in your kitchen. From traditional recipes to some fun new ones, I have got them all for you!
