About Charmi
About Me: A Dance Enthusiast & Tribal Fusion Instructor
Dance has been a part of my life since I was a kid, and for over a decade now, I've been training professionally. My journey has taken me through a diverse range of styles, from Bachata and Kathak to Raqs Sharqi, Odissi, Tribal Fusion, and even Movement Arts. This cross-training has not only helped me develop my own unique style but also enriched my understanding of dance forms across cultures.
Over the years, I've also had the joy of sharing my passion through fun belly dance workshops for university students. Dance is my life! I love it, I live it, and I could talk about it all day long. I'm fascinated by the connections between different dance forms and how they reflect diverse cultures. While I've explored many styles, belly dance holds a special place in my heart. I've dedicated a significant portion of my training to this captivating art form, and I'm thrilled to share my knowledge with you!

My approach to Tribal Fusion Belly Dance is all about fun and learning!
Each class starts with a warm-up and ends with a cool down, followed by a focused plan of steps. We'll cover new techniques and build on what you've learned. In addition to technique, we'll explore the history and musicality of this captivating dance form, discussing cultural context and responsible engagement. We'll even experiment with a variety of music, from Bollywood beats to instrumental and even Bachata rhythms!
These classes are for anyone who wants to discover the joy of Tribal Fusion! Whether you're a beginner or have some dance experience, join me for a journey of movement and creativity.
