About Isla
I’m a violin tutor with over ten years of experience and a Licentiate of Music in Violin. My teaching takes a holistic and therapeutic approach, focusing on self-expression, emotional release, and musical storytelling. I encourage students to explore improvisation, journaling, and soundscape creation as tools for personal growth and deeper connection with music. I have worked with neurodiverse learners, trauma survivors, and adult students seeking healing through the power of sound. Each lesson is tailored to support emotional needs while developing technical skills. I believe the violin offers a unique way to express what words sometimes cannot. Through my guidance, students learn to use the violin as a safe space to explore their inner voice and emotions.
