• Can you tell us about your first experience using a computer?

  My first experience of using a computer goes all the way back to when I was in 4th grade. We used to have computer class twice a week, in which we used to sit in front of those thick screens and use paint to add color to shapes. I still remember that I used to plan my holidays so I don't miss those computer classes by any chance. It used to be the main highlight of my day. Then I got my own personal computer and that was the best gift I could ever receive. I was always connected with computers in one way or another, which became the root of my passion for computers.

• What is the technological evolution that has marked you most and what will be, in your eyes, a turning point in this field?

  The rise of machine learning and artificial intelligence was the most amazing technological evolution in my point of view as it opened doors to a lot of fields and made the computer science fields connected with almost al the aspects of human life. Earlier, we humans used to associate computers with simple use cases like keeping records, data sharing, searching the internet and other basic utilities. But Ml AI proved that computers are way more powerful than we can ever imagine. For the near future, the rise of web3 is going to be the next big thing.

• Explain your expertise, your interest in it and, more broadly, its importance in the computer world.

  I work as a software developer and from the very start of my career I have been deeply connected with web apps, i.e the apps which can run on your browsers. No need to install any software or deal with crazy setups. The best part about them is you can have all the functionalities in it that we can think of, all thanks to modern powerful devices which can do a lot more than just sending dogs videos. Web app development has been there for ages and it is growing day by day. There is a lot of amazing work being done in this field and it surely has a bright future ahead.

• Do so-called 'visionaries', such as Bill Gates, Steve Jobs and Mark Zuckerberg inspire you or do you have other role models?

  I don't consider the so-called visionaries as my role models, as I have a lot of respect for the development team that is working really hard to make that vision into a reality. I don't hate or disregard these brilliant minds in any way as they are definitely the very best in their respective fields, but as a developer myself, I love to see other developers work and take their work as an inspiration for my work and coding style.

• Provide a valuable anecdote related to your subject or your days at school.

  In my school days, we used to have computer classes. Since I was good at computers, I was able to complete all the work that was assigned to me quite quickly. So once our work was done, we were allowed to watch these short animated movies on computers. So all thanks to my love for computers and my quick work I have watched quite a lot of movies in my school days.

• What would you say to an uncomfortable person in front of a screen who says that "IT is too complicated"?

  To anyone who is finding IT complicated or hard to understand, the truth is it is hard. There is a lot of things to learn and understand, but so it is in the case of cooking. Complexities and difficulties will always be there we just have to give it some time and try to break down things into smaller bits and pieces and try to keep our basics right. Break down your problems into smaller chunks and try to focus on one thing at a time.

• What are your other passions, related or non-related to computers?

  Apart from coding, I am also an avid traveler. I like to discover new places whenever I get a chance to do so. Also if I have some free time at hand and work load is low, I experiment with new computer languages and try to build something with them. Doing so gives a sense of accomplishment and helps to keep moral high.

• What makes you a Superprof in IT?

  I love to help others when they are struggling as when I was new to this field, I also had a lot of questions in mind, but unfortunately I was not aware of this amazing platform at that time. So with the lack of such platform to learn something new I had to learn things the hard way, by making mistakes and learning from them. At the end it worked out for me but it would have me much better if someone had taught me that in the initial stages of my work. So with this platform I am trying to impart my knowledge and help as many developers as possible.
