About Imogen
Hi!
I'm Imogen, I have been working as an actor for around 9 years now, it is amazing experience to be able to do this and acting has and continues to bring me so much. I am very keen to share this passion and the skills I have learnt with others, which is why I have also been working as a tutor for the past three years. I love it!
Acting is all about having fun and letting go, so my lessons will be all about 'play' alongside concentration and focus. We will learn all about the process of breaking down a script and building a character and then proceed to the process of using this work to 'mindfully act', with a heavy focus being in the moment, on 'reacting'.
Alternatively if you are looking to build up a specific technique whether that be self taping or simply build confidence, I will mould my lessons round you! All my lessons are bespoke and focused on what you need to progress.

I have extensive experience in TV/ Film, my recent credits include, The Bay (ITV1) Clique (BBC3) Suspect (CHANNEL4) Darkest Hour (WORKING TITLE FILMS) Hotel Portofino (ITV1), Lve Rat (Channel 5)
I have just come off a run at the Brokley Jack theatre and completed another stage run earlier in the year.
I offer bespoke lessons for each individual student, in the first session we will discuss your aims and goals in acting and I will create a program designed specially for you.
I will help with making every character feel and appear real, teaching you the techniques to ensure you create natural, present and engaging characters.
I offer help with audition and self tape technique, additionally I can help you film your auditions in my studio with professional lights and backdrops.
a range of techniques i teach include:
given circumstances, objectives, character psychology, imaginary circumstances, actioning, shifts, units, mindfulness acting and improvisation.
Self tape and audition technique, navigating a set and acting in front of the camera.
