About Dan
I am passionate about my subjects, and thoroughly enjoy teaching undergraduates. University can be a stressful and intense time, and this can make learning difficult. I endeavour to support students in the subjects they are learning to make it an an easier and more engaging process.

I teach with a combination of lectures, flipped and interactive elements with an awareness that everyone learns differently! I try and ensure material is tailored for specific groups of students.
Lessons are approximately 1 hour, with a degree of flexibility to suit you.
I have a PhD in biochemistry, an MSc in Medical Molecular Biology, and a BSc in Microbiology. I qualified as a lecturer in 2017, and have experience teaching at a UK University. I also have been a private tutor for several years, and have experience teaching at a college of FE. I am a careers tutor in my current role, and regularly support both LGBTQ+ and neurodiversity concerns.
The lessons are for UK undergraduates (levels 4 to 6) aged 18+
