About Erik
I have a PhD in mathematics and I work as a lecturer at CU Boulder. I have not always been passionate about mathematics and struggled with the subject in my teens. I understand how much of a challenge math can be, and hope to help my students overcome this hurdle so they can achieve their goals.

I am a tutor who believes that anyone can succeed given the help of a teacher who has patience and empathy. I try not to provide answers, but to guide students to find the answers on their own. My goal is to help students reach a level of understanding that allows them to apply and synthesize their math skills in wide variety of settings.
