As a dedicated and experienced tutor with over three years of private tutoring experience, I’m committed to helping students succeed academically and build confidence in their abilities. I hold a degree from the University of Leeds and have a strong background in both Mathematics and the Sciences throughout GCSEs and A-Levels, which allows me to explain challenging topics clearly and effectively. My tutoring approach is student-focused, supportive, and tailored to individual learning needs. I believe that understanding the why behind a concept is just as important as knowing how to apply it. I break down complex ideas into simple, manageable steps, using real-world examples and interactive problem-solving to help students build lasting confidence in Maths, Biology, Chemistry and Physics. I adapt my teaching methods to suit each student's learning style—whether that means using visual aids, practice questions, diagrams, or step-by-step walkthroughs. I also encourage questions and discussion to create a comfortable, engaging learning environment where students feel confident to explore and grow. A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes, although I can adjust the length depending on the student’s needs and attention span. During lessons, we review key topics, tackle practice problems, and reinforce learning with short, focused exercises. I’m a graduate based in Leeds with over 3 years of private tutoring experience, helping students from ages 11–18, particularly those preparing for GCSE exams in Maths and Sciences. My students range from those needing extra help to catch up, to those aiming for top grades.
