About Eden
As a guitar tutor with 3 years of teaching experience and a Bachelor of Music in Composition (Guitar Emphasis), I bring both academic training and creative practice to my lessons. I compose and perform regularly, keeping my perspective grounded in artistry. My focus is on acoustic fingerstyle and classical guitar. I teach students of all levels, from complete beginners to advanced players. Beginners benefit from clear guidance and supportive instruction. Advanced students explore more complex arrangements and expressive detail. I see music as a lifelong journey of creativity and discipline. Lessons are structured to balance technical development and artistic growth. I emphasise both mastery and personal expression. Students are encouraged to use the guitar as a tool to express their unique voice. My goal is to nurture a lasting love for music. Together, we’ll work towards fluency, artistry, and joy in guitar playing.

My teaching approach combines music theory with practical guitar application. Students explore scales, modes, chord construction, and harmonic analysis hands-on. I guide them in seeing how theory shapes real playing. The Aspiring Rock Star learns to apply concepts for riffs, solos, and improvisation. The Classical Purist develops understanding for interpretation and phrasing. Lessons include exercises that link theory to fretboard patterns. Students gain fluency in both technical execution and musical creativity. Each lesson is tailored to skill level and goals. My focus is on making theory useful, clear, and inspiring. Students learn to compose, improvise, and understand music deeply. I emphasise practical examples and guided experimentation. Learning becomes both structured and creative. Together, we develop skill, knowledge, and expressive freedom on the guitar.
