About Mai
Hello! My name is Mai, and I'm a native Japanese speaker from Osaka. I've worked as an instructor at cram schools and English conversation schools, providing personalized instruction to each student. I value "easy-to-understand, fun, and comfortable lessons." I can also communicate in English, so beginners are very welcome! I'll support you in English as needed if you have any questions. My hobby is traveling. I've visited many countries and love experiencing different cultures and values. I've experienced both the joy of "being understood!" and the difficulty of "wanting to communicate but not being able to put it into words." That's why I want to create an environment where everyone can speak Japanese without worrying about making mistakes and feel relaxed. I'll tailor the lessons to your goals and interests, including everyday conversation, Japanese for travel, Japanese useful for life in Japan, natural expressions, and free talk. I aim to make lessons that make you think, "Speaking Japanese is fun!" and "I want to speak Japanese more!" Let's learn Japanese together in a fun way! I look forward to seeing you in class!

I have experience as an instructor at a cram school, where I was responsible for guiding students in their studies, and also as an English conversation instructor at an English conversation school, where I taught students of a wide range of ages. Through these teaching experiences, I have always valued adapting my explanation methods to each student's level and understanding, and making it easy to understand. I would like to utilize the teaching skills and communication abilities I have cultivated to provide careful and enjoyable lessons tailored to the learner's goals and level.
