About Ruben
I am a second year economics student at the University of Bath, on track for a high first. I achieved all A*s in the 2024 A-Level exams, providing me with a strong and updated understanding of both the Maths and Economics syllabuses. - Achieved A*A*A* in Maths, Economics and History at A Level. My Economics papers were ~90% (as were, at least, my other exams). Achieved 90%+ and 25/25s all through year 12 and 13.

- I have found that being a tutor closer to the age of students has made them feel more comfortable, encouraging participation and thus cultivating a better learning environment
- Happy to discuss lesson plans with students to tailor them to needs. Otherwise, I believe a discussion of concepts followed by exam questions is the best way to learn. Students need to be certain of how to apply the concepts they learn in exam scenarios.

Perfect! Very organised lessons and to the point, effective advice on structure and content. Great tutor and his flexible times were really helpful during exam season as I was able to do another lesson on pretty short notice if something had come up during my revision that I wanted to look at.

Superb tutor. Ruben took me from averaging Bs on my papers to achieving A* level marks. His explanations were always easily understandable, but perfectly thorough and aimed at exam application. I cannot recommend him enough!

When you're finding a concept tricky Ruben knows exactly how to break it down and how to approach it , so you can master every topic.
