About Mia
Hi! I’m Mia, a recent A-level student who has just completed my A-levels and will be starting Business & Management at the University of Bristol in September.
I’m a friendly, approachable and patient person, and I really enjoy helping others understand things that they may initially find difficult. Having recently been through the A-level experience myself, I know how stressful revision and exams can be, especially when you understand the content but aren’t quite sure how to turn it into marks.
I achieved a B in A-level Sociology and have a strong understanding of the AQA specification, including the key theories, studies and exam skills needed for the course. I particularly enjoy helping students with essay structure, evaluation and exam technique.
I want my lessons to feel relaxed and supportive rather than intimidating. I’ll work at your pace and tailor sessions around the areas you personally find most challenging.
Outside of studying, I’m an equestrian and create content online, so I’m used to communicating with different audiences and making information engaging and easy to understand.
I’m really excited to start tutoring and hopefully help other students feel more confident in Sociology and achieve the grades they’re aiming for!

I offer friendly and personalised AQA A-level Sociology tutoring, focusing on helping students build their confidence, strengthen their understanding of the course and, most importantly, turn their knowledge into marks in exams.
Having recently completed A-level Sociology myself, I understand how overwhelming the course can feel and how difficult it can be to know exactly what examiners are looking for. I can help with everything from understanding difficult topics and sociological theories to improving essay structure, evaluation, application and exam technique.
Lessons can be tailored around exactly what you need, whether that’s going through a topic you’re struggling with, practising 10, 20 or 30-mark questions, preparing for upcoming exams or creating a revision plan.
I achieved a B in A-level Sociology and will be studying Business & Management at the University of Bristol. As I have only recently completed the AQA course and sat the 2026 exams, the content, exam style and revision process are still very fresh for me.
My aim is to make lessons relaxed, supportive and easy to understand, while helping you make measurable progress towards your target grade.
Lessons are available online and can be adapted to suit your individual needs and learning style.

Mia was a huge help when it came to improving my exam technique. I understood the Business content but struggled to turn what I knew into strong exam answers, particularly with longer questions. Her explanations were clear and easy to follow, and I found the sessions really useful for building my confidence before exams. I would definitely recommend Mia to anyone who knows the content but wants to improve their exam technique and get more marks.
